"Asana" (Sanskrit: आसन) primarily means "seat," referring to a stable, comfortable posture for meditation, though in modern yoga, it broadly translates to any yoga pose or posture.
My goal as a teacher is to help you become more flexible, strong, and free... and not only physically. True yoga is about becoming flexible, strong and free in the mind.
My sessions are for:
-
Beginners seeking to learn strong, accessible foundations
-
Seasoned yogis refining technique or exploring advanced postures
-
Groups looking to gather for a curated practice
-
Special events or gatherings desiring an intentional activity
My teaching emphasizes precise cueing and assists to guide students into proper anatomical alignment, build strength, and increase flexibility with intentional modifications to support you whether you want to step it down or explore a more advanced version of the pose.
I value traditional teachings with modern accessibility. I won’t offer practices that aren’t rooted in tradition, but I will translate them into language we can actually understand and embody. And when a non-traditional asana appears, it is always grounded in strong foundations, proper alignment, and anatomical awareness.
Option to add on sound healing.
All asana sessions are in-person.
