glimpses of eternity

I’ve tasted moments of such pure ecstasy

That it felt as though the skies limits had been reached

And then the moments turned to hours

and the hours to days

Until I was in complete flow with life’s beautiful yet mysterious rhythm

Swept away by sweet fleeting experience

I am here because I am free

Free from doubt

From distraction

Free from stories

And from resistance

Free from tension

And anticipation.

I live in heaven.

I am only an outsider when I forget that her gates are always open

Gratitude. Love. Acceptance. Joy. Peace. Surrender. Faith.

These are the qualities of serenity in being.

I awaken.

A glorious dawn.

The night’s rain invited blue skies and vibrant air

Heaven pours through the open window.

A cool autumn breeze

Trees illuminated in radiant color

A tranquil tumbling creek

And gentle birdsong

Smooth the air with their lullaby

Sunlight whispers through the clinging leaves

Tangled in bedsheets

I fill my lungs with soothing vitalizing breath

Stretching, I reach for the edges of my expanse

My lips invite a blissful smile

As the warmth of pure innocent love fills my heart

And envelops my entire being.
